My name is Tanya Stanishevsky. Over 19 years I teach painting and art history in the community center company at Bait-Shemesh. I am a graduate of an education and history master and I learned fine arts, art history and fashion drawing in the Technological College of Tel-Aviv. I love to paint and create all the time, I love to surround myself with and artistic environment of paintings, music, cooking and design. In addition of teaching art I’m painting in my studio at home.
I teach my classes with a good spirit and great joy. My students are from a different variety of ages. I teach seniors, young and children groups. The subjects of the paintings are in a large verity and students can pick their own themes for their paintings.
The painting lessons we work with graphic paintings (black and white, coal pencils), watercolors, dry pastel colors, oil colors and acrylic. With the new students we start from the basics that include drawing (sketching) and frame. Slowly we advance to work with different technics and materials.
In every end of a year I make an art gallery show of my student’s works. The art gallery allows the visitors to get impressed by the works of my students and open then a door to try themselves to paint.
I’m amazed every time to see how my students discover their artistic side and manage to create a wonderful paintings.
